| Marias makes visual music which traverses the space between ambient, downtempo, house, electro and drum & bass. He has composed soundtracks for several films, videos, video art pieces, and his music has been featured on Musical Starstreams, NPR, international podcasts, and radio. He’s played live in many venues including the Seattle Art Museum, Neumo’s, Tost, Church of Bass, and has a residency with Henta at the Jelly Bar of Long Restaurant in Seattle.
Marias is proud to announce that Henta’s latest CD, “Laserium for the Soul” has been nominated for a Grammy for Best New Age Album. Marias contributed to this album with mixing, percussion and CD artwork. David Miles Huber also garnered the nomination in the Best Surround Sound Album category with “Colabs” , where Henta and Marias have credits as co-writers with David. Marias also has a few remixes completed, and has them featured on the Real World Remixed Hot Picks and on the Top 20. He has just completed Peter Gabriel’s “Games Without Frontiers” on Real World Remixed. You can listen to these below.
